Crochet: Centifolia Rose (Mawar Rajut)

Flower accessories won't go out of date in any occasion if I may say so. I made the brooch above by combining a few roses and leaves and then glued them onto a felt fabric.

Aksesoris berbentuk bunga akan selalu tampak cantik di setiap acara. Bros diatas saya buat dengan mengkombinasikan beberapa bunga mawar dan daun yang ditempel ke bahan felt.

A plain ole regular hair clip will turn glamorous when combines with these pretty roses. For the hair clip above I add a bunch of different size roses and glue it onto the hair clip. You can see the pattern at Crochet Accessories Book by Ratu Sri Hastutie but I'll share the pattern below in US terms.

Jepit rambut yang amat biasa akan menjadi cantik dan mewah bila dikombinasikan dengan mawar rajut. Untuk jepit di atas saya membuat mawar dengan beberapa ukuran yang kemudian di lem ke jepit rambut. Pola dari mawar ini bisa didapat di buku Crochet Accessories karangan Ratu Sri Hastutie namun akan saya share juga polanya dengan US terms.

Material:

- crochet hook / hakpen #4 (2.5mm)
- local cotton yarn / benang katun lokal
- glue / lem

Rose Pattern:

Round 1: Do a 30 ch and make 1 dc at the 3rd chain from hook, dc in the next ch, 2 ch and sl st at the 6th ch from hook.

Round 2: Do a 3 ch, dc in the next 2 ch, 2 ch and sl st in the next ch, 4 ch and 1 tr in the next 4 ch, 3 ch and sl st in the next ch, 4 ch and 1 tr in the next 6ch, 3 ch and sl st in the next ch, 5 ch and 1 tr int the next 8 ch, 4 ch and sl st in the last ch. Fasten off.

Roll the crochet to make the flower.

Leaf Pattern:

Make 13 ch and 1 sc in the 2nd ch from hook and the next 2 ch [3 sc], make 1 dc in the next 6 ch [6 dc], make 1 sc in the last 3 ch [3 sc], make 5 ch and sl st in the 2nd ch from hook and the next 3 ch [4 sl st], continue to the other side make 1 sc in the next 3 ch [3 sc], make 1 dc in the next 6 ch [6 dc], and make 1 sc in the last 3 ch [3 sc]. Fasten off.

Mawar:

Round 1: Buat 30 ch dan 1 dc pada ch ke-3 dari hakpen, dc di ch selanjutnya, 2 ch dan 1 sl st pada ch ke-6 dari hakpen.

Round 2: Buat 3 ch, dc pada 2 ch selanjutnya, 2 ch dan sl st pada ch selanjutnya, 4 ch dan 1 tr pada 4 ch selanjutnya, 3 ch dan sl st pada ch selanjutnya, 4 ch dan 1 tr pada 6 ch selanjutnya, 3 ch dan sl st pada ch selanjutnya, 5 ch dan 1 tr pada 8 ch selanjutnya, 4 h dan sl st pada ch terakhir. Matikan

Daun:

Buat 13 ch dan 1 sc pada ch ke-2 dari hakpen dan 2 ch selanjutnya [3 sc], 1 dc pada 6 ch selanjutnya [6 dc], 1 sc pada 3 ch terakhir [3 sc], buat 5 ch dan sl st pada ch ke-2 dari hakpen dan 3 ch selanjutnya [4 sl st], lanjutkan pada sisi selanjutnya dan buat 1 sc pada 3 ch selanjutnya [3 sc], buat 1 dc pada 6 ch selanjutnya [6 dc] dan 1 sc pada 3 ch terakhir [3 sc]. Matikan.
